Regressive hypnosis: history of origin, features and techniques of use

In the life of every person, the subconscious plays an important role, which has a strong influence on his thoughts and actions, lifestyle, views and even goals. Often, medications and psychological training alone are not enough to solve many psychological and mental problems. In this case, regressive hypnosis comes to the rescue, allowing you to put a person into a trance state in order to identify secret fears and negative aspects, many of which could have been laid down in deep childhood.

What is regression hypnosis?

The concept of “regression” in psychology is a detailed study of a person’s past, in which one can find the reasons for how he is at the present time. Accordingly, regressive hypnosis is a technique of putting a person into a very deep state of trance in order to discover important information, as well as the root causes of the problems that have arisen. This state even allows you to look into past lives and reincarnations, learn a useful lesson from this and solve your problems, breaking the circle of cyclical situations.

In modern psychology, much attention is paid to the study of regressive hypnosis, and practical experiments show positive results. With the help of trance, you can bring a person out of deep depression, as well as save him from addictions, addictions and mental trauma.

Today, regressive hypnosis is actively used to treat emotional and psychological disorders, giving the doctor the opportunity to get to the source of the disorder or pathology. The methods of immersion in trance here are more complex than those of conventional hypnosis, which is determined by the need to get to the deeper layers of the subconscious. A detailed study of past incarnations allows the doctor to track changes in the patient’s life, understand their pattern and reasons for their occurrence.

History of Regressive Hypnosis

The origins of such hypnosis go back to ancient times, originating from religious teachings about reincarnation, which are found in Hinduism, shamanism, Gnosticism and even early Christianity. If we take the scientific basis, then the famous psychiatrist Sigmund Freud is considered the founder of regressive hypnotherapy. His main student and follower, Carl Jung, not only introduced the concept of the collective unconscious, but also began to actively work on deep immersion of a person in a trance through hypnosis.

In the mid-30s of the last century, scientist Edgar Cayce tried to substantiate the idea of reincarnation and past lives from a scientific point of view, in which he achieved considerable success. A real breakthrough in the field of regression therapy was the work of the English psychiatrist Alexander Cannon, who, in addition to theoretical research activities, also carried out practical experiments and introduced patients into regressive hypnosis. His follower, the Czech scientist Stanislav Grof, founded transpersonal psychology and also worked extensively with hypnosis and regression.

Since the late 70s, American hypnotherapist Dolores Cannon has developed a unique technique for immersing a person in deep hypnosis, which is still actively used today. This technique will be discussed in more detail below. In the 1980s, British-American professor Roger J. Woolger first used hypnosis to work through traumatic memories. Other prominent scientists who have been and are still working on regressive hypnosis include Michael Newton, Brian Weiss, Peter Ramster, and Peter Mack.

To date, scientists have proven that regressive hypnosis is not only capable of plunging a person into the depths of his subconscious and “pulling out” important information from it, but also essentially confirms the multidimensionality of the human soul.

Where and how else can you learn regressive hypnosis?

Upon request for training, the Internet provides links to numerous courses conducted almost throughout Russia, by specialists of various skill levels. Among them are doctors of medical sciences and people who have independently mastered the techniques of regressive hypnosis. Advertising and recommending someone is not the purpose of this article. As a recommendation, when choosing a teacher, take into account work experience, reviews of people who have completed training, and cost. Try to find out how close the technique is to the classical one. Give preference to followers of Michael Newton's school, as this will guarantee that you will master the method in the right way.

Regressive hypnosis - a tool or a weapon

Many scientists believe that regressive hypnosis can, over the course of several sessions, clear a person’s consciousness of subconscious traumas that were inflicted on him in the early periods of life. Thanks to this, you can leave behind phobias and fears, uncertainty and shyness - all that often prevents a person from growing as a person in all respects. At the same time, there are people who are unsure of the effectiveness of such a tool and, on the contrary, consider it a weapon that is used against the person himself and his consciousness.

It is best to consider the facts and become familiar with the techniques that are most in demand today in the field of regressive hypnosis:

Michael Newton Method

This scientist is a certified and internationally recognized specialist in the field of hypnotherapy, who is an honorary member of the American Psychological Association for Psychological Counseling. He developed his own method of immersing a person in regressive hypnosis based on deep visualization of the images that the patient sees during a trance.

He is responsible for the discovery of such a phenomenon as the “immortal soul,” which, in his opinion, exists in the periods between physical incarnations on Earth. During hypnotic sleep, the doctor immersed his patients in the intermediate period of their incarnation, which was called LifeBetweenLives (LBL regression). This technique is aimed at making a person better aware of himself and reaching the level of superconsciousness.

Dolores Cannon Method

American soul researcher who studied in detail the issue of reincarnation, as well as various techniques of regressive hypnosis. In the early 80s of the last century, she managed to develop her own method of immersion in a state of deep hypnosis with the ability to extract knowledge hidden there from the depths of a person’s subconscious. Based on her practice, she was able to help many patients, actually proving the phenomenon of reincarnation from a scientific point of view.

In her numerous scientific articles, she proved that the techniques she proposed have a positive effect on a person’s subconscious without causing him any harm. Over her 30 years of practice, she has successfully treated thousands of people with psychological and emotional trauma.

Regressive hypnosis using the Michael Newton method

The founder of the method is Michael Newton. He imagined our mind as three rings. Moving from the outer ring to the inner one, we pass through the layers of the conscious - thinking mind, the layer of the subconscious and reach the center. This center is super or supraconscious. This is the impersonal level of our Self, which is the focus of our undying essence, our Soul. It is an inexhaustible source of life that fills the personality with the power of existence and at the same time brings from the past impressions and the pattern of our innate reactions. M. Newton and D. Canon are representatives of the Ericksonian hypnosis school. Ericksonian hypnosis is called a therapy of the unconscious, in which the patient is taught to independently enter a state of trance. Erickson himself, by the way, considered trance to be an absolutely normal state and stated that a person unconsciously falls into it several times a day, dreaming, reading or fantasizing. Absorbed by these images, he is disconnected from the outside world and does not hear, see or be aware of his immediate surroundings. Some breathing practices, yoga, lucid dreaming also immerse a person in a shallow trance. However, its depth is not enough for regressions into the past. NLP and shamanic practices reach a greater depth of trance, but it is not enough for regressions. Representatives of the school of classical hypnosis reach the deepest layers of trance in one session. However, in this case, the presence of a hypnotist is mandatory, since the person in this case plays a passive role, and without the guidance of the hypnotist, at a certain stage he will simply fall asleep. In the technique of regressive hypnosis according to Michael Newton, a person gradually learns how to enter a deep trance himself, consciously move forward or backward, while retaining the memory.

What problems does regressive hypnosis treat?

The most important goal of regressive hypnosis is the ability to once again relive incidents that occurred in the distant past, but to do this on a more conscious level. This allows you to change your attitude towards these events and begin to perceive them in a completely different way, thus neutralizing this impact on real life. Correct use of such hypnosis allows you to get rid of the following problems:

  • Nervousness and worries regarding unimportant things
  • Chronic fatigue and lack of sleep due to insomnia
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Harmful addictions and habits
  • Lack of confidence in yourself and your abilities, shyness
  • Phobias and various kinds of fears
  • Heal psychological wounds and traumas received in early childhood
  • Get out of depression

It is important to understand that regression hypnosis is an effective way to expand your own consciousness, as well as discover new abilities and talents. Often people who have been in such a deep trance begin to see the world in completely different colors, more rosy and promising, which gives one of the most important states - motivation. It is this that allows you to set goals and achieve them, bringing new meaning to life and setting you up for an active life position.

Getting rid of resentment as the most important aggravating factor

With the help of regressive hypnosis, you can penetrate the depths of a person’s subconscious, but he must be psychologically ready to experience all emotions again, including grievances . By the way, some scientists and esotericists believe that resentment is not an emotion, but a pattern of behavior inherent in deep childhood, aimed at getting what he wants. When a person is offended, on a subconscious level he wants to make others feel guilty and thereby achieve what he wants.

Having correctly worked through all grievances using the technique of deep hypnosis, a person can not only remove a huge burden from himself, but also improve relationships with the people around him. Often this radically changes the life position of a person who begins to take responsibility for himself and his actions, and also stops blaming others for failures.

Positive impact on human health

Both official doctors and representatives of esoteric circles are convinced that our emotions and thoughts directly affect the body. However, the state of a person’s health largely reflects not only his consciousness, but also his subconscious, which is much more important. That is why a person often cannot understand and find an explanation for a particular disease, although in appearance he may lead a healthy lifestyle and be an optimist. Much is hidden in the depths of the subconscious, where childhood fears, insecurities and hidden grievances were driven.

During the regressive hypnosis procedure, ancestral and karmic problems are resolved, which immediately has a positive effect on health. It has been noticed that after several sessions, a person’s pain in joints and bones disappears, convulsions go away, good and deep sleep improves (nightmares disappear). So this procedure has a positive effect on human health, since it “restarts” the immune system, due to which many physiological processes in the human body are improved.

Reviews about regressive hypnosis

If we analyze the reviews of those people who were immersed in a state of regressive hypnosis, we can conclude that such a procedure has a positive impact. Many note that after the session they were able to deal with their internal problems and get rid of complexes, bad habits and phobias. As for the experience of past lives, after their passage, many people become re-aware, which makes it possible to look at the world with different eyes, let go of many grievances and hostility, and improve relationships with people around them.

Among the reviews, there are also those that indicate the reluctance of people to further plunge into the depths of their subconscious. In general, this suggests that some people are simply not ready to perceive the full depth of information that is embedded in their subconscious.

The position of science: what is regressive hypnotherapy and how hypnosis helps you travel into the past

If we take the work of Pavlov's school as a basis, then there is little surprise in hypnosis as a rare, and hence possibly interesting, phenomenon. The usual ultra-paradoxical stage, which causes a state of “suggested waking dream”. Therefore, we will adhere to the classical theory of Soviet clinicians and analyze the internal kitchen of hypnotherapy and separately the stages of hypnosis. For those who want to delve deeper into the subject, there are two fundamental monographs by K. I. Platonov, “The Word as a Physiological and Healing Factor” and a book by S. Ya. Lifshits. "Hypnoanalysis of infantile traumas in hysterics."

Regression Hypnotherapy Process

Regressive hypnotherapy is a branch of hypnotherapy that continues the traditions of scientists such as Pierre Janet and Joseph Breuer and is based on searching for repressed traumatic memories in the patient’s memory and working through them. As a result of such therapy, the client gets rid of the root cause of his illness, and the painful symptom ceases to exist.

And if earlier the process of searching for trauma was more intuitive, now regressive hypnotherapy incorporates the main theoretical discoveries and developments in the field of memory and the resurrection of memories, and it already contains the main methods of influencing repressed material. We will look at how this happens below.

Basic steps of regression hypnotherapy

The algorithm for conducting cognitive regressive hypnotherapy is based on a number of patterns of memory functioning, and also includes a group of tests that allow assessing the suitability of a given client for such work.

1. Preparation . The first stage is devoted to preparing the client and begins with his request. Here, those who have contraindications to this therapy are usually excluded, for example, people with psychotic disorders, pregnant women, clients with previous negative experiences of hypnotherapy, etc. Requests that are not suitable for this therapy option or based on myths, for example, developing skills or "discovery of talent"

However, the main task here is to identify the specific situations in which the client's problem manifests itself and the feelings associated with it. To do this, clients are often asked to fill out tables in the “situation – emotions – thoughts” style. They help to specify the request, which is often not clear to the person making the request. For example, a client may ask for “low self-esteem,” which is problematic to work with because “low self-esteem” is nothing more than a generalization that includes a group of specific situations. One person may be afraid to meet someone, and another may be afraid to ask their boss for a raise, but both will talk about low self-esteem. Such a diagnosis allows you to avoid this problem and prepare the individual for the first session.

An even more important point here is the actualization of the emotion associated with the problem situation. Emotion is the most important factor in remembering a traumatic situation, but many people, coming to therapy without preparation, are not able to take and reproduce the emotional state simply upon request. That is why, even before the meeting, they should be confronted with their problem face to face so that they realize how and what they are experiencing.

2. Diagnostics . Diagnostics continues at the first meeting with the client. It is assumed that he has already come to us with knowledge of the situation that worries him and with an understanding of how he feels. However, this is still not enough to predict the success of therapy. That is why, at the first step, additional testing is carried out on three points: the level of hypnotizability; the ability to reproduce emotion; level of immersion in memories. In general, a classic regression therapy session is built from these same aspects.

3. Induction of a hypnotic state . The first stage of the regression hypnotherapy session itself consists of immersing the client in a hypnotic state. It is possible, of course, to conduct regression therapy without hypnosis, helping the subject to remember the trauma by searching for analogies with his past (this is done in many types of depth therapy), but hypnosis provides a number of advantages in this regard. In particular, it increases the effectiveness of any subsequent psychotherapeutic intervention[1]. This is manifested, among other things, in the greater number of memories produced[2], while the supposed risk from false memories, for which hypnosis is often criticized, is in fact determined not by hypnosis, but by the subject’s hypnotizability itself[3] (that is, false memories can manifest itself in any type of therapy).

These positive effects are achieved due to several basic properties of hypnosis: increased concentration of attention, actualization of the imagination, increased suggestibility and increased ideodynamic effects (connections between the mind and body)[4]. Simply put, while in hypnosis, the client will be more involved in the therapy process, he will be more willing to accept the therapist's influences, and he will also be more actively involved in imaginary pictures or images of memories and it will be much easier for him to process them in his mind (that is, faster retraining process).

To induce a state of hypnosis, the hypnotherapist uses so-called inductions. There are a huge number of such inductions (gaze fixation, non-verbal induction with monotonous stimuli, shock induction, etc.), so usually each hypnotherapist chooses the method that he simply likes the most, or the one that best suits a given client. True, today, in most cases, Elman’s combined induction is used, since it initially contains a number of hypnotic inductions and tests and is accepted by the majority of clients (by and large it serves as a ritual, and not a real method of induction).

The hypnotherapist first uses the induction itself, then evaluates the degree of immersion based on the phenomena that the client exhibits. For example, induction may consist of a consistent verbal suggestion of heaviness in the eyelids and eyes, and verification in a proposal to open the eyelids (accordingly, if the client has reached the required stage, he will not be able to open the eyelids). In different sources, several main phenomena of different stages of immersion can be identified: relaxation and trust (light stage of hypnosis); catalepsy or freezing of a limb (middle stage of hypnosis); amnesia (relative somnambulism); hallucinations (somnambulism).

Most often, medium or even mild stages of hypnosis are sufficient for psychotherapy, while deeper stages are used mainly for pop performances or research into the human psyche and are achieved quite rarely with a large sample of hypnotics. And although clients often play along with the implementation of certain phenomena (so as not to disrupt the therapy process), in general this is not so important if the individual sincerely believes in what is happening.

4. Updating emotions and contextual features . The hypnotic state allows us to immerse the client in a problematic situation for him. To do this, the hypnotist says something like: “Remember a recent event where you experienced a negative feeling,” or asks you to remember or imagine something specific, for example, “You are in a confined space, there is darkness all around!” (client with claustrophobia); “In front of a girl, you’re ashamed!” (client with social phobia), etc.

You should not be afraid of such suggestions, since they only help to reproduce the situation with a much lower intensity of emotions than if it happened in reality. This is done in order to activate contextual cues in memory.

The fact is that our memory is associative and the memory of certain events depends on whether they have sufficient activation. Simply put, remembering an event requires sufficient stimulation and a sufficient amount of associations or associative cues, usually called context. It is by getting into the same context: the same environment[5], emotional state, chain of events that we are sometimes able to remember long-forgotten events[6]. Moreover, despite all the criticism towards the theory of trauma, there is a large number of studies that show that people quite often repress traumatic events [7] and that these events can be reproduced again [8] and even some mechanisms of trauma repression have been revealed from the perspective of psychology [9] and physiology[10].

Thus, reproducing a problematic situation in fantasy allows us to activate the associative process of memories, which will subsequently lead us to the root cause of the problem.

5. Regression . After we have updated the problematic situation, and most importantly, the emotions and feelings that concern a person, we can begin the process of searching for trauma in memory, which in hypnotherapy is called regression. Regression is a formalized process of remembering. There are a large number of regression options, for example, regression using counting: “I’ll count to 3 and remember an earlier event” or regression using direct suggestion: “You are 10 years old... you are 5 years old...”. However, the most popular are metaphorical regressions and the affective bridge technique, when we invite the client to concentrate on his feeling and remember earlier events. This type of regression allows you to keep a person’s attention on a feeling in the process of remembering, as well as make this process itself less formalized, giving greater freedom of association.

In this case, the client usually does not immediately remember a significant trauma, but before that he reproduces a series of intermediate unpleasant events. This is normal, since reproducing such events allows you to further increase the level of associations and make it even easier to reach the initial trauma.

6. Processing trauma. Regression should lead us to the root cause of the client's problem in the form of a memory of an early traumatic situation. In this case, the processing of this injury begins, which includes a fairly large number of mechanisms. First, remembering itself brings awareness to the root cause and can sometimes provide healing. However, more often than not, simple recall is not enough, so the hypnotherapist resorts to a number of additional methods to work through the problem behaviorally; emotional; bodily and cognitive levels.

First of all, exposure therapy is used. In the language of psychodynamic therapy, it is usually called catharsis, which in principle does not make a fundamental difference. Exposure therapy is based on the law of extinction of the conditioned reflex, when fear and horror in a situation does not receive its reinforcement, which leads to the extinction of problematic emotions. This method is currently one of the most effective in working with phobias and is recommended when working with post-traumatic stress disorder[11]. In the case of regression therapy, it comes down to the fact that a person replays the memory of his trauma, expressing his emotions, until they “run out” and until the situation loses its value.

Often, however, this is not enough, since the person retains his habits and thinking associated with the problem. That is why cognitive regression hypnotherapy also uses work with the client’s thinking, by changing the conclusions that he made based on the situation of trauma. Once the emotional charge is removed through exposure therapy, such conclusions are much easier to change because they no longer have emotional support. In this case, additional techniques for cognitive restructuring of memories can be used, for example, rescripting techniques, which have also shown high effectiveness when working with memories [12]. Rescripting involves changing the situation in such a way that it fulfills the person’s frustrated need. For example, we can invite a client in a situation of violence to imagine how, as an adult, he fights back the rapist. This will allow him to get rid of the feeling of danger and feel his strength.

7. Behavioral training . After processing the trauma, the client is asked to make a progression (“Now allow yourself to grow upward with new resources, knowledge and qualities”), that is, growth from the moment of the trauma to the current age and beyond, with the new skills and beliefs that he has acquired. Essentially, the technique boils down to the fact that the client gets the opportunity to work out how he will now behave and how he would behave differently in various problematic situations that he had. At the same time, the therapist helps such a client overcome any obstacles that arise in the process of progression, using the same methods of working through the trauma.

8. Checking the result . After such work, the client is invited to check the results of the work in a real situation. The problem does not always go away immediately. More often, the problematic feeling can decrease (usually the client is asked to estimate the degree of intensity of the feeling as a percentage) or even change to something else, for example, fear can be replaced by shame or the opposite feeling - aggression. Such situations indicate that there are some other chains of mental trauma associated with other feelings. They are the ones who become targets for subsequent sessions of regressive hypnotherapy.

conclusions

It must be understood that only a typical scheme of classical regressive hypnotherapy was presented here, which does not always find its correspondence in real work. For example, a client’s regression often occurs nonlinearly, that is, not from new events to old ones, but, for example, from old to new ones, when the client, in the process of remembering, returns to a certain age instead of moving to earlier periods. Some clients, in general, instead of real traumas, can reproduce imaginary pictures, such as images, metaphors, past lives and perinatal periods, with which the hypnotherapist will also have to work. Some events require many days of processing, others turn out to be not so significant. Some clients may demonstrate different levels of hypnotizability on different days. There are many other nuances, taking into account which is the skill of a hypnotherapist.

Speaking about the effectiveness of this type of therapy... Everything here is quite controversial, since you will not find direct data specifically on regressive therapy. Rather, we can talk about exposure therapy for psychological trauma, short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy, and rescripting techniques, which are very similar in essence to regression therapy and show quite good results.

However, based on practice, it is worth saying that regressive hypnotherapy can be an extremely effective method, but with a rather narrow scope of application, which is limited to people who have successfully completed all stages of diagnosis.

PS The effectiveness of hypnotherapy is greatly overestimated; if you take information from popular psychological resources, you can find illustrations of almost 100%. These are, of course, fakes, and these distorted data greatly spoil the attitude towards the method on the part of specialists. Neither the treatment of alcohol or nicotine addiction is the area of application of hypnoanalysis; cognitive and drug therapy have been excellently recommended there. Basically, regressive hypnosis is either an additional tool or allows you to quickly relieve a symptom in 10% of cases.

To understand the functioning of split consciousness (read hypnotic state), I recommend watching the popular science film “Brain. Second Universe." For the completely skeptic, you can study a video tutorial on “animal hypnosis”, in a sense this is an introduction to Pavlov’s theory of the conditioned reflex.

Regressive hypnosis technique

It is important to understand that in order to positively immerse the patient in a state of regressive hypnosis, the specialist requires preliminary preparation. During this process, the hypnologist examines the person’s state, makes eye contact with him, asks questions and listens to answers. This allows you to create an atmosphere of friendliness and trust between the doctor and the recipient, remove tension and achieve ease.

Thanks to this, the person’s subconscious psychological defenses are removed, which allows the doctor to plunge him into a deeper trance state. The trance technique includes the following steps:

  1. Introducing a person into a trance state, but maintaining constant communication with him through leading questions. This helps the patient get comfortable in a new space, dive deep into himself, and focus on his feelings and visions.
  2. Upon reaching the required depth of trance, the hypnologist begins to ask questions that help identify the root cause of a person’s problem, drawing out all the important information from the depths of the subconscious. As a result of this, the doctor sees the source of the problem, trying to understand it as deeply as possible in order to resolve it.
  3. After accurately understanding what caused the crisis, the hypnologist, through certain manipulations and words, corrects the situation of the past and records the changed version in the subconscious. Next, the patient slowly returns to the present and exits the trance state.

During the entire process, the hypnologist controls the situation, monitoring the patient’s condition and preventing strong emotional outbursts. This is important because in a trance state it is important to prevent a person from overexpending his energy, as this can become a source of new problems and crises.

To study the experience of past lives, as well as to find the root cause of the problem, often one session of regressive hypnosis is not enough. In this case, repeated immersions into a trance state are carried out until the hypnologist reaches the original starting point.

In a state of deep trance, a person often remembers the smallest details of his past and even his previous incarnations. The positive effect of regressive hypnosis is achieved through re-awareness of past events, which allows you to let go of pain, resentment and disappointment. Instead, an understanding of the importance of the experience comes and a desire arises to live on, develop and find oneself in this world.

Hypnotrance technique for regressions: in detail

The first goal of the regressologist: to bring the immersed into a state of altered consciousness - this is when we are relaxed, immersed in a trance state and ready for hypnotherapy (in general, hypnotized). It is in this state that viewing a past life is real. This requires preliminary preparation for the session (~1.5-2 weeks).

And during the immersion we go through the stages: 1. Leading questions from the contactee in which we search for facts that created a problematic request 2. Correcting the situation in the past incarnation and editing its image in the subconscious 3. Returning to the point of reality

The altered state of consciousness activates the hidden mechanisms of the brain, and we can remember things that were never recorded in our lives. Critics and skeptics do not believe in this, nor do they believe in the habitability of our Universe. Their right. Look at the video of regressive hypnosis sessions and reviews at the end of the material, and draw your own conclusions.

What exactly happens during past life regressions?

Let's delve into the essence of the phenomenon. Through regressive hypnosis (either on our own or through a regressologist), we are immersed in a trance, where additional synchronization of consciousness and subconscious is activated; it must be free from external stimuli, this is important.

We help our brain relax and begin to receive information, I call this place a “sandbox”, it allows the mind to open fully to the usual signals of meditation and peace, and then gain access to hidden information from the past incarnation, and it is safe to begin working with her.

Through the leading questions of the contactee (or through the power of self-hypnosis, if we act independently), we find in it memories of past incarnations that bother our Soul. Through catharsis (emotional release) and then awareness, we gain freedom from problems. Understanding the information received will also take some time, usually up to a week, after which the problems worked out in the session recede and a new internal stage begins, which is individual. There are also difficult cases when one immersion into past lives from regressive hypnosis is not enough.

Self-regression hypnosis

In the course of numerous studies and experiments, it was found that a person can immerse himself in regressive hypnosis on his own. The only thing here is that it is important to observe safety precautions and follow certain instructions, which allows you to control the situation. The deep trance technique includes the following sequence of actions:

  1. Take a comfortable sitting position, lean on the back of a chair or armchair and relax as much as possible; You are allowed to tilt your head back slightly.
  2. Try to drive away all thoughts and emotional experiences, breathe evenly and measuredly, achieving a feeling of comfort and relaxation, complete unity with the outside world.
  3. Allow your consciousness to gradually plunge into a trance state, but be sure to instill in yourself complete control over the situation that is happening; Give yourself the mindset that, if necessary, you can get out of the state of deep hypnosis by counting from 1 to 5.
  4. Start immersing yourself in your subconscious by slowly counting from 10 to 1, and when moving from one number to another, you must move your eyes left and right or up and down.
  5. After the number one is pronounced, very slowly close your eyes and smoothly immerse yourself in a trance state.

During a trance, the body should be as relaxed as possible, and the eyes should be closed, and it is important to try to “dissolve” your consciousness in the universe, as if to “get out of your body.” Deep immersion is highly effective when imagining yourself on the bank of a river, in a forest or on top of a mountain with a beautiful landscape view around, where pleasant memories of a hike or excursion can play a positive role. It is extremely important to listen to your body and try not to tense up, as all the muscles of the body and face should be relaxed.

Gradually, images in the form of pictures will appear before a person’s eyes, which must be carefully examined, recording the smallest details and details. At the same time, it is important to maintain harmony with your inner and outer world, without emotional attachment. When diving to a deeper level, you should turn your attention to the little finger of your hand and move it. This will mean that you are in control of the situation and will be able to exit the state of deep hypnosis at any time.

You should not give in to the first desire to immediately tackle a painful issue or topic, as this can be psychologically traumatizing if a person is not yet ready to understand the essence of the problem. Initially, you need to create an “evaluative self-portrait” for yourself, and then smoothly and carefully dive into yourself. It is better to find answers to the most pressing questions at the 3rd or 4th session of self-immersion.

Sequence of thoughts in a state of deep trance

To successfully complete the self-hypnosis procedure, they begin to immerse themselves in memories from their childhood. To do this, the brightest and brightest events of a positive orientation are pulled out of memories, which opens the door to even greater depths of a person’s subconscious. Next, they begin to obtain information about their past lives, which is necessary in order to gain valuable experience that will manifest itself in a certain awareness.

At this stage, a person imagines a corridor of past lives, on which he sees one or more doors, behind each of which there is a life path in one of the past incarnations on earth. You should not visit more than 2 doors, since in this case the consciousness may not record the information, and it will simply be forgotten after leaving the trance. Here it is important not to rush, but to act consistently, initially entering the door that is the most striking and unusual, arousing a person’s interest.

To exit, they slowly and carefully return from the door to the corridor, after which they are transported to childhood. Next, consciousness freely transfers the person to the present time by counting from 1 to 5, as he himself initially agreed upon, before entering a trance state. Before leaving, you must give the instructions to remember everything that was seen during hypnosis.

International Institute of Regression

Center for self-knowledge and self-development “StarSonar”
There is a banal trend in marketing: the more pompous the sign, the more empty tinsel is hidden behind it. Behind the loud name of the International Institute and Center for Health Management is the individual entrepreneur Vandalin Dmitrieva. She speaks mysteriously about her education: “I learned from many masters, trainers, and simply knowledgeable people.” Judging by the resume on the website, Dmitrieva is a specialist with a wide range of profiles: “doctor of parapsychology, regressologist, reincarnation therapist, bioenergy therapist, quantum therapist, energy healer, tarot reader.” “In the world” Wanda is just an accountant.

The course in regression goes far beyond traditional travel into the past. There is “life” in insects, and in stones, and in other worlds, and in some “defective bodies”... All this is generously seasoned with elements of metaphysics and quantum therapy.

  • Presenter: regressologist Vandalina Dmirtrieva.
  • Cost: from 15,500 to 22,500 thousand rubles.

How much does regression hypnosis cost?

The price of regressive hypnosis depends on the use of the technique of diving into the depths of the subconscious, the time of the session, as well as the specific specialist who provides the services. In general, the cost ranges from 3,000 to 13,000 rubles. per session, so the price difference is quite high. Many hypnologists do not charge fees if the session fails to achieve deep immersion, which should also be taken into account.

Dangers and Disadvantages of Regressive Hypnosis

It is important to understand that any manipulation with your subconscious should be carried out very carefully so as not to cause harm, so the session should be conducted by an experienced hypnologist with extensive experience. It is also worth noting that during a session a person can look not only into past lives, but also into future incarnations, and this information can be somewhat shocking to an unprepared person. For this reason, many hypnologists do not advise looking into the future.

Not all doctors approve of regressive hypnosis, because they believe that as a result of the procedure, a person with a weak psyche can be subjected to severe stress. At the same time, scientific research in the field of hypnotherapy confirms the fact that with proper preparation, a person with the help of regressive hypnosis can get rid of phobias and addictions, as well as discover new abilities and talents, and gain a positive attitude.

Patient reviews of regressive hypnosis

Thanks to the growing popularity and effectiveness of hypnotic regression, people with problems of various types are increasingly resorting to its help. Most of them are satisfied with the results of therapy and willingly share their impressions on the Internet.

  1. Irina, 40 years old. “All my life I didn’t understand why I didn’t have good relationships with the people around me. I couldn’t stay in one job for long, I couldn’t get along with the team, I couldn’t find a common language with my superiors. She blamed herself for the inability to liberate herself, for excessive restraint, considering it the cause of unsuccessful relationships. I spent a long time thinking, independently looking for answers to troubling questions. Sometimes I noticed internal “hints”, but interpreted them incorrectly, so the result was zero. I decided to see a psychologist. After just a few hypnotization procedures, I noticed an improvement: communicating with people became much easier. Soon I made friends, fell in love with my work, and began to go out into the world. Life began to sparkle with bright colors, I felt happy!”
  2. Natalya, 33 years old. “As a teenager, I was abused by my stepfather. I received severe psychological trauma and stopped trusting men. Thoughts about the family and the child were unacceptable. About 10 years of torment passed, and I decided to eradicate this problem. I understood that I couldn’t cope alone, so I decided to resort to hypnotization. The method revealed to me many states of mind, gave me a lot of new feelings - calmness, tranquility, self-confidence. Regression allowed me to understand that love for a man and family is the most beautiful thing a woman can experience. I stopped tormenting myself with doubts and fears, and later I met a decent man and started a strong relationship with him.”
  3. Sergey, 42 years old. “For many years I was worried about my physical health: frequent illnesses, long periods of rehabilitation. I also wondered about my purpose: I wondered if I had hidden talents that were worth developing. I turned to the services of a regressologist and received comprehensive answers. The result is magnificent: I have found my place in life - literally and figuratively, and my health is now not failing me!”

As a result of regression sessions, patients get rid of complexes, difficult feelings and illnesses, begin to create their own wonderful future, and understand that they came into this world for a reason, but with an important purpose. The only thing they regret is that they put off visiting a hypnologist for so long.
